Here are some more photos from the May 3rd rally against the Conservative 'Prince Johns' by HCAP and a merry band of class heroes.

Proper police protocol would have been to wait for a specific request from the Trade and Convention owners to remove specific individuals; at which point the police should have approached said individuals with two choices and consequence scenarios.
Instead the over-funded and under-trained Sherifs of Nothin'ham (Halifax's Swinest) went buck wild with peper spray (even spraying one of their own in the face!) and striking out in an unorganized orgy of violence and chaos.
The real story here however is that the gap between rich and poor in this country is as deep as it was before the great depression. The real story is that the rich white men who were feeding at that trough, are the very architects of that ever-widening social-economic gulph which keeps one in every five canadian children living in poverty.
