Are You a Liberal Anti-Semite?
by Joe Lanzmann
Friday, Feb. 09, 2007 at 2:29 PM
From slade
After years of rising concern about left-wing anti-Semitism, the New York Times reported this week about a study for the American Jewish Committee. Written by professor Alvin Rosenfeld of Indiana University, the study describes the spread of a virulent anti-Zionism in many quarters on the left that has helped legitimate anti-Semitism. Some people have seized on the study to argue that these extreme anti-Zionists are really anti-Jewish bigots. Critics reply that criticizing Israel, even harshly, doesn't prove animus toward the Hebrew people.
So, how can you tell if you're a good liberal who simply thinks the West Bank settlements are bad policy—or a closet Judeophobe whose progressive views mask a serious attitude problem? Take this quiz and see.
1. Who deserves the most blame for the Iraq war?
a) George Bush, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld b) Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, and Bill Kristol c) Blame? Don't you support the troops?
2. Which group exerts too much influence on America's Mideast policy?
a) Conservative jingoes b) Not the Jews per se but a "pro-Israel lobby" composed mainly of wealthy New York financiers (who may well all attend the same shul) c) Arabists at the State Department
3. How would you characterize debate about America's Mideast policy?
a) Robust, with a full range of opinions available in various publications b) Nonexistent, since all criticism of Israel is "taboo" c) Biased, because the Sulzberger family of the New York Times is afraid to seem "too Jewish"
4. Which state's offenses against humanity bother you most?
a) Sudan b) Israel c) Massachusetts
5. Criticism of Israel is:
a) Sometimes warranted, but needs to be kept in context and perspective. b) The civic duty of every truly patriotic citizen who cares about America's self-interest. c) Why are you always criticizing Israel?
6. What do you think of Joe Lieberman?
a) I liked him OK when he ran with Gore, but he lost me on Iraq, school vouchers, and Social Security. b) The most dangerous man in the Senate c) At least there's one Democrat who isn't soft on terrorism!
7. On what basis is Iran a threat to world peace?
a) I'm concerned that its unchecked nuclear-arms program will destabilize the region. b) I'm afraid Israel will use its saber-rattling as a pretext to start World War III. c) I pray Ehud Olmert will have the chutzpah to pull another Osirak.
8. Jimmy Carter's use of the term "apartheid" in his new book is:
a) intended to provoke debate but clearly ill-considered b) a gutsy, rare example of someone "speaking truth to power" c) more of the same from the putz who put Andy Young at the UN
9. Which describes your view of the Holocaust?
a) The most horrific crime in recorded history b) A tragedy that, incidentally, gets far more hype than the Turks' slaughter of the Armenians or the white man's annihilation of the Indians c) Child's play compared with what Iran's Ahmadinejad has planned
10. The term neoconservative suggests:
a) Erstwhile leftie radicals who grew disenchanted with the welfare state. b) A cabal of pro-Israel intellectuals who have hijacked our foreign policy. c) A code word for "Jews" used by the people who answered (b).
Your Results
Give yourself 1 point for each (a) answer, 2 points for each (b) answer, and 0 points for each (c) answer.
0-3: OK, you're not an anti-Semite. But you're not a liberal either. You win a lifetime subscription to Commentary and this sheaf of old AIPAC newsletters.
4-7: You display trace elements of atavistic fears. Your prize: a copy of The Plot Against America.
8-12: Phew! You're an unbigoted liberal—painfully capable of striking a middle ground and excruciatingly tolerant of all points of view. Please enjoy this complete set of Barack Obama's speeches.
13-16: You're clearly not nuts about Zion, but Abe Foxman won't be calling you just yet. To be safe, steer clear of any petitions emanating from British universities. Meanwhile, please claim your dinner with Tony Judt and two tickets to My Name Is Rachel Corrie!

Since the long-forgotten days when the State Department's Middle East policy was run by a group of so-called Arabists, U.S. policy on Israel and the Arab world has increasingly become the purview of officials well known for tilting toward Israel. From the 1920s roughly to 1990, Arabists, who had a personal history and an educational background in the Arab world and were accused by supporters of Israel of being totally biased toward Arab interests, held sway at the State Department and, despite having limited power in the policymaking circles of any administration, helped maintain some semblance of U.S. balance by keeping policy from tipping over totally toward Israel. But Arabists have been steadily replaced by their exact opposites, what some observers are calling Israelists, and policymaking circles throughout government now no longer even make a pretense of exhibiting balance between Israeli and Arab, particularly Palestinian, interests.

Qods (Jerusalem) Day in Iran: ‘The Nation of Muslims Must Prepare for the Great War So As to Completely Wipe Out the Zionist Regime and to Remove This Cancerous Growth’
On the occasion of Qods (Jerusalem) Day, which was observed this year in Iran on October 20, 2006, several conservative Iranian newspapers published editorials praising the resistance against Israel and urging Israel's destruction. [1]
The editorials, which appeared in the conservative dailies Resalat and Kayhan, reflected Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's Qods Day speech, in which he said: "The existence of this regime [i.e. Israel] has been based on military threat, on military strength, and on its myth of invincibility. Today, by the grace of God, this myth has been shattered, with the help of the believers in Palestine, and thanks to the self-sacrifice and the belief of the Hizbullah commanders. Today, the Zionists do not feel safe, not even in their homes, [or] anywhere in the world."
TO VIEW THIS CLIP ON MEMRI TV, VISIT: http://switch3.castup.net/cunet/gm.asp?ai=214&ar=1301wmv&ak=null .
The articles in Resalat and Kayhan said thatthe recent Lebanon war was only the first battle on the way to the elimination of Israel, and expressed the hope that the war will serve as a catalyst for an extensive Islamic uprising against Israel.
The following are excerpts from the two articles:
Kayhan: "Hizbullah Destroyed at Least Half of Israel in The Lebanon War... Now Only Half the Path [To Its Destruction] Remains" On October 19, 2006, the conservative daily Kayhan, which is close to Iran's Supreme Leader 'Ali Khamenei, published an article on the occasion of Qods (Jerusalem) Day: [2] "...This year was a decisive one for Palestine and the Islamic Middle East region. Those opposed to the liberation of Jerusalem, Palestine, and the Middle East linked arms and sought to publicly topple the free foundations of sacred Jerusalem. America, Europe, Russia, many of the heads of Arab regimes in the region, and the Zionists all collaborated in this process, assuming that by means of a series of operations they would dry up the heart of the freedom of Jerusalem, in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Iran, and that by means of a terrible blow against these four countries they would close this dossier forever.
"On this basis [U.S. Secretary of State] Condoleezza Rice came to the Middle East in the first days of the Lebanon war and said: 'The new Middle East is like a newborn, and therefore we must suffer its birth pangs.' Then she clearly declared [the need] to eradicate the Lebanese Hizbullah. [But] the axis of the West, the East, and the Zionists against Hizbullah ended in its defeat and in a reversal in the balance [of power].
"Hizbullah stood fast in Israel's 33-day war against Lebanon, and proved that the destruction of Israel was easier [work] than some of the Arab governments think - [namely,] that the destruction of Israel is impossible. The 33-day war proved that the intelligence-security capability of Israel is not so great as to be immeasurable and that it is possible to triumph over the Israeli Air Force - which had been considered the element that brought about the victory of the Israeli regime over the Arabs in the five previous wars - and this is said without disregarding its range of technological capabilities.
"When the air force of the Zionist Regime, together with its warships, besieged the shores of Lebanon - from the port of Tripoli in the north to the port of Tyre in the south - it retreated after Hizbullah's blow to the advanced Saar 5 warship at a distance of 12 miles from the coast of Beirut... thus it was proven that, by means of an offensive operation that need not be equal to Israel's moves, it is possible to neutralize the Zionist navy.
"With the downing of one of the Tel Aviv regime's advanced night-flight helicopters at the height of the war... it became clear to all that the Zionist regime's air force, despite 33 successive days of bombing, had not managed to deliver serious harm to the capability of Hizbullah's command and missiles. It was proven that it is possible to damage the Israeli Air Force from a distance...
"The 33-day war ended without any of the goals that had been declared by the Zionist government and the commanders of its military being attained - and this was the first time that Israel was forced to accept its complete downfall...
"In the 33-day war, the Lebanese Hizbullah destroyed at least 50% of Israel [and therefore] half the path to the liberation of Jerusalem equals 33 days. Now, only (at most) 50% of the path [to Israel's destruction] remains. This remaining 50% is easier than the 50% that was already accomplished. Now, in the face of the degree of fear and lack of confidence that has been deeply implanted in [all] parts of the Zionist regime, the Muslim peoples of the region, and particularly the four Arab countries neighboring Palestine [i.e. Israel] - Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon - are full of hope and confidence, and they have no doubt, that they will be able to very quickly overcome the Zionist regime...
"According to this description, just as in one 33-day war more than 50% of Israel was destroyed, and the hope of its supporters for the continued life of this regime was broken, it is likely that in the next battle, the second half will also collapse.
"On that day... Jordan will not be able to prevent the Jordanian Islamists from operating through the long Jordan-Palestine border, and the millions of Egyptian Islamists... will not let the Sinai-Israel border remain quiet, and the Syrian Golan Heights will not remain as a [mere] observer of the battle. That day is not so far off." Resalat: "The Great War is Ahead of Us, [And Will Break Out] Perhaps Tomorrow, or in Another Few Days, or in a Few Months, or Even in a Few Years... Israel Must Collapse" In an October 22, 2006 editorial titled "Preparations for the Great War," the conservative daily Resalat wrote: [3] "...The Qods Day marches in the month of Ramadan this year were held at a time when the takeover by the global arrogance [the U.S.] was shattered with Israel's defeat by the Lebanese Hizbullah.
"For the first time in the 60 years of its disgraceful life, the Zionist regime - the West's beloved in the Middle East - tasted the taste of defeat, and the citizens of this regime trembled at the menace of Hizbullah's missiles. There can be no doubt at all that the silence of the parents of this illegal creature [i.e. Israel] is temporary, and that they [i.e. the West] will not be willing to sit quietly before their wounded child and [just] worry at its misfortune.
"The Zionist regime and its supporters are, without doubt, preparing for the great war, in order to settle this conflict in one fell swoop. They will not be willing to relinquish the occupied lands of Ghajar and the Shab'a Farms - this in order to keep Lebanon's wound open. This regime's military movements in the north of occupied Palestine, the unconditional military and economic aid it receives from America, and [Israel's] effort to imitate Europe in the military arena [in] missile and satellite [technology] - all attest to this regime's preparedness for renewed war against Hizbullah.
"This sense of danger on the part of the supporters of the counterfeit Israeli regime is not limited to the Islamic resistance in Lebanon [i.e. Hizbullah]. On the contrary; the American plan of [U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza] Rice, which is titled 'Conditions for Neutralizing the Aspiration for Growth in the Islamic World and Coordination with the Arab Governments in the Region in Order to Contain the Shi'ites,' attests to the West's preparations for a wide confrontation with the Middle East's [Islamic] awakening movement in the third millennium. This is, of course, the first time in [the history of] America-Zionist relations that Washington has turned to the heads [of the Arab states] after an Israeli defeat, and asked them to unite and help it [i.e. Israel], in order to compensate for the losses in the war...
"In any event, we must be alert. Sights and rumors can tell us about the movements of this regime [i.e. Israel] in the coming months. Hizbullah was the undisputed victor of the 33-day war against Israel, but as the honorable Supreme Leader [Ali Khamenei] said at Friday prayers in Tehran: 'The defeated in this event are not, and will not remain, passive. The process is not over [yet]. They are busy with operations and efforts aimed at stopping the results of this disappointment and defeat [they suffered], because the blow that landed upon them was a hard one...'
"The Muslim peoples in the region must stop this conspiracy before it happens. The people's unprecedented participation in Qods [Jerusalem] Day this year attests to the continuation of the path of resistance against the Zionist regime... But on the first front of the resistance, that is, the Hizbullah [front], maintaining control over the 'Iron Triangle' [4] region and declaring it a closed military area can prevent the weakening of the forces of the Islamic resistance. In any event, America's effort is to turn UNIFIL's role into one of confrontation with and weakening of Hizbullah - but doubtless this deception will be neutralized by the alertness of [Hizbullah Secretary-General] Hassan Nasrallah.
"It must not be forgotten that the great war is ahead of us, [and it will break out] perhaps tomorrow, or in another few days, or in a few months, or even in a few years. The nation of Muslims must prepare for the great war, so as to completely wipe out the Zionist regime, and remove this cancerous growth. Like the Imam [Ayatollah] Khomeini said: 'Israel must collapse."

You know better, yet you continue using these, just like the ridiculous Propaganda, addressed below. If you were legitimately fighting real 'antisemitism', then there would be no problem.
The trouble is that you are shamefully attempting to blur the line between irrational hatred of Jews, and legitimate criticism and condemnation of Zionism and Israel under the leadership of violent Extremists.
This validates everything said about Zionists by their critics, while at the same time, dishonoring those who've faced and fought antisemitism throughout history, and hurting your cause at the same time.
But please, keep it up. With "friends" like you, Zionist Extremism really will be made irrelevant within a generation!

Mustapha Abu Sa'deh hasn't let his three children leave their home in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood of Gaza City for four days, for fear they will be caught in an exchange of gunfire between Hamas and Fatah militiamen.
"We're living under a self-imposed curfew," the 38-year-old civil engineer told The Jerusalem Post on Tuesday. "My children, aged eight to 12, have not gone to school since the fighting broke out last Friday. It's become too dangerous to walk in the street or to look out the window."
Like many in Gaza City, Abu Sa'deh expressed fear that the "mini-war" between Fatah and Hamas would deteriorate into an all-out confrontation. "The fighting in the streets reminds us of the civil war in Lebanon during the '70s and '80s," he said in a telephone interview.
"Many people are wondering why the Palestinians create trouble wherever they go. In Jordan, the PLO almost sparked civil war in the early '70s. Then they went to Lebanon and triggered civil war."
Abu Sa'deh's wife, Maha, an unemployed pharmacist, said hundreds of masked gunmen have been roaming the city's streets since the fighting began. "It's hard to distinguish between the Fatah and Hamas gunmen," she said. "Most of them are masked, dressed in black uniforms and armed with automatic rifles and mortars. It's like watching a Rambo movie."
At least three innocent passersby, including a female university student, have been killed in the clashes in the past three days. But what is most worrying for the residents of Gaza City is that the fighting has spread to university campuses, hospitals, schools, mosques and other public and private institutions.
Several schools have suspended studies and a Fatah-affiliated radio station, Al-Hurriya, has advised its employees to stay home. Some residents said they had stopped going to mosques for fear of being mistaken for Hamas members.
"Fatah gunmen have fired at worshippers emerging from a number of mosques in Gaza City," said local photographer Imad Judeh. "And in some cases, Hamas gunmen have used rooftops of mosques to fire at Fatah supporters."
On Tuesday morning, scores of worshippers were caught in the cross fire between Hamas and Fatah gunmen outside a mosque in Gaza City, eyewitnesses said. The two sides subsequently continued the fight at the nearby Shifa Hospital.
"These people have no respect for holy sites or hospitals," said Ashraf Udwan, who lives in an apartment near the scene of the clashes. "This is a real tragedy for the Palestinians. The reputation of the Palestinian people has been severely harmed in the eyes of the world. How will we ever be able to ask the world to support our just cause when we are killing each other mercilessly?"
Several city residents told the Post that Hamas and Fatah were equally responsible for the latest violence.
"Nothing justifies this ruthless war," said bookstore owner Khaled Shaker. "Most people here are disappointed with Hamas and Fatah. This war plays into the hands of Israel, whose leaders must be laughing at us now. We demand an end to the fighting before Palestine becomes a second Iraq." http://www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/2616

Israel made an offer that Arafat could not in good conscience accept. It would have deprived the Palestinians of more than they'd already had stloen from them. This was done because the Zionists are intent upon wiping Palestine off the map, and are not interested in Negotiation or Compromise.

Again, Plant, I was discussing the willingness of European Zionists to collaborate with Hitler. Remember that it was your heroes, these early Zionists, who said that any Jews who would not emigrate to Palestine "deserved to be on the trains". In their eyes, the Holocaust, like all antisemitism, was a good thing, because it accelerated the growth of their Apartheid, Colonial project.

Why do we hate the Jews?
by Why do we/ZIWG hate the Jews?
Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007 at 1:29 PM
All praise is due to Allaah. May He send salutations upon His Messenger Muhammad and exalt his mention.
Currently, the Muslim Nation is going through some extremely difficult times and painful circumstances, one of the greatest of which is the Jewish domination over the Muslims in Palestine, where they are killing their men and youth, terrifying their women and children, burning their mosques, destroying their homes and besieging them and starving them.
The way in which a Muslim should view and evaluate such events must be based on the Qur’aan and Sunnah. Therefore, we will make the following comments about these events to remind ourselves of how we should deal with these matters and prepare ourselves to deal with our enemies.
Why do we hate the Jews? We hate them for the sake of our Lord, we hate them for the sake of Allaah because they slandered Allaah and they killed and slandered His Prophets.
· They are the ones about whom Allaah tells us in His Book that which translates as: “And the Jews say: ‘The hand of Allaah is chained (i.e., implying inability or stinginess).’ Chained are their hands, and cursed are they for what they say. Rather, both His hands are extended; He spends however He wills. And that which has been revealed to you from your Lord will surely increase many of them in transgression and disbelief. And we have cast among them animosity and hatred until the Day of Resurrection. Every time they kindled the fire of war [against you], Allaah extinguished it. And they strive throughout the land [causing] corruption, and Allaah does not like corrupters.” (Al-Maa’idah: 64).
· They are the ones, who said that which translates as: “‘Indeed, Allaah is poor, while we are rich!’ We will record what they said and their killing of the prophets without right and will say: ‘Taste the punishment of the Burning Fire.’” (Aal-‘Imraan: 181).
· They are the ones who attributed a son to Allaah. He says that which translates as: “The Jews say: ‘Ezra is the son of Allaah” (At-Tawbah: 30) .Exalted be Allaah above what they say. Allaah says that which translates as “He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and who has taken a son and has not had a partner in dominion and has created each thing and determined it with [precise] determination.” (Al-Furqaan: 2).
· They themselves said in the so-called ‘Talmud’ that ‘God is not infallible or free from folly, anger and lying’. (We seek His forgiveness).
· In their Talmud it also says that the rabbis have authority over God, and He has to carry out whatever they wish.
· They say that God spends three hours a day playing with the king of the fishes. Glorified be Allaah far above all that they say. Allaah says that which translates as: “And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them in play. Had We intended to take a diversion (i.e., a wife or a son), We could have taken it from [what is] with Us – if [indeed] We were to do so. Rather, We dash the truth upon falsehood, and it destroys it, and thereupon it departs. And for you is destruction from that which you describe (i.e., to Allaah by uttering that Allaah has a wife and a son).” (Al-Anbiyaa’: 16-18).
· In their Talmud it says that the Jews are dearer to God than the angels, and that the one who slaps a Jew is like one who slaps the Divine glory. But Allaah has shown them to be liars. Allaah says that which translates as: “But the Jews and the Christians say: ‘We are the children of Allaah and His beloved.’ Say: ‘Then why does He punish you for your sins?’ Rather, you are human beings from those He has created. He forgives whom He wills and He punishes whom He wills. And to Allaah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, and to Him is the [final] destination.” (Al-Maa’idah: 18).
· They also say in their Talmud that God consults the rabbis on earth when there is a problem for which He cannot find a solution in heaven. Exalted be Allaah far above all that they say! Is there anything that the Lord is not able to do? Glorified and exalted be He, for He is Able to do all things. Allaah says what translates as: “His command is only when He intends a thing that He says to it: ‘Be,’ and it is!” (Yaa Seen: 82).
· In the Talmud they say in the most audacious manner that the teaching of the rabbis cannot be undone or changed, even by the command of God. Glory be to Allaah, Who says of the Jews that which translates as: “They (i.e., the Jews and Christians) have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allaah (by obeying them in things which they made lawful or unlawful according to their own desires without being ordered by Allaah).” (At-Tawbah: 31).
· These are the ones about whom Allaah says that which translates as: “O you who have believed, indeed many of the (Jewish) scholars and (Christian) monks devour the wealth of people unjustly and avert [them] from the way of Allaah (i.e. Allaah’s religion of Islamic Monotheism). (At-Tawbah: 34).
· These Jews are the ones who think that they are everything and that everyone else is nothing. Among the things that they said about non-Jews, as stated in their Talmud, are the following:
· The sperm of a non-Jew is like the sperm of an animal.
· Every Jew has to do his utmost to prevent all other nations from having any possessions on earth, so that the Jews alone will have power and authority.
· If God had not created the Jews, there would be no blessing on earth.
· Those who are outside of the Jewish religion are filthy pigs.
· The souls of the Jews are dear to God, but as far as all other souls are concerned, they are devilish souls and resemble the souls of animals.
· The Jew is not at fault if he attacks the honour of a non-Jewish woman, because all marriage contracts among the non-Jews are null and void, and the non-Jewish woman is considered to be an animal, and there are no contracts between animals and humans.
· The Jews have the right to rape non-Jewish women.
· Fornication with a non-Jew, whether male or female is not punishable, because they (non-Jews) are the descendants of animals.
· No Jewish woman has the right to complain if her husband commits adultery with a non-Jewish woman in the marital home. It is not surprising that they would say such things, since they are the ones of whom. Allaah says what translates as: “… Because they say: ‘There is no blame upon us concerning the unlearned (i.e., the Arabs.)’ And they speak untruth about Allaah while they know [it].” (Aal -‘Imraan: 75).
· Among their beliefs about the fate of non-Jews in the Hereafter is what they stated in their Talmud: Paradise is the abode of the Jewish souls, and none will enter Paradise except the Jews. This is in accordance with what Allaah says about them. He says what translates as: “And they say, ‘None will enter Paradise except one who is a Jew or a Christian.’ That is [merely] their wishful thinking. Say ‘Produce your proof, if you should be truthful’” (Al-Baqarah: 111).
· These Jews are the ones who killed the Prophets of Allaah and slandered them. In their Talmud they said about ‘Eesa or Jesus, peace be upon him, that he was a bastard and that his mother became pregnant with him whilst she was menstruating, and that he was a trickster, one who led others astray, a fool and the liar of the children of Israel. They said that he was crucified and died and that he was buried in Hell, where he is being punished in a cauldron of filthy boiling water. Allaah says concerning their lies about ‘Eesa, peace be upon him, and his mother with that which translates as: “And [We cursed them] for their breaking of the covenant and their disbelief in the signs of Allaah and their killing of the prophets without right and their saying: ‘Our hearts are wrapped’ [i.e., sealed against reception]. Rather, Allaah has sealed them because of their disbelief, so they believe not, except for a few. And [We cursed them] for their disbelief and their saying against Maryam (Mary) a great slander (that she committed illegal sexual intercourse). And for their saying ‘Indeed, we have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the messenger of Allaah.’ And they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him; but [another] was made to resemble him to them. And indeed, those who differ over it are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption. And they did not kill him, for certain.” (An-Nisaa’: 155-157).
· They are the ones whose enmity towards our Prophet Muhammad sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam is expressed in their Talmud in the following terms: “Because the Christ was a liar and because Muhammad acknowledged him, and the one who acknowledges a liar is a liar like him, we must fight the second liar just as we fought the first liar.”
Today, the Jews are saying that God regrets having created the Palestinians. They wrap a pig’s head in pages of the Qur’aan on which is written “Muhammad” and throw it into Al-Masjid Al-Aqsaa in order to offend the Muslims. They draw a pig on a wall and write on it the name of our Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam and put the star of David beneath it.
Our enmity towards them is ideological and not simply political. We do not hate them only because they are occupiers. The matter goes further back than that, as we have stated above. We also hate them for their crimes against the House of Allaah, Al-Masjid Al-Aqsaa, for their setting fire to it and their attempts to destroy it, for their digging tunnels beneath it. We also hate them for killing our brothers and for using lethal weapons, whose bullets penetrate the heads of Muslims and then explode inside them.
Examples of their crimes are: Ten fragments found in the brain of a Muslim child; bullets shot from a silent weapon so that the Muslims would not realise that one of their brethren had fallen wounded and rush to save him; missiles which explode in the midst of unarmed Muslims, with the result that even a victims family cannot recognise his features; poison gases which they claim are used to disperse demonstrators, but which in fact cause suffocation and death; shooting at ambulances, killing some ambulance workers and injuring others; preventing a car carrying a Muslim woman who was about to give birth from reaching the hospital, so that she had to give birth in the car; firing 500 and 800 bullets, and dumdum bullets, blowing apart the heads of their Muslim victims. Hundreds killed; thousands wounded; thousands disabled and unable to spend on their families. Chemicals added to reservoirs in Palestine so as to make the Muslim women infertile and unable to conceive. Changing the curriculum studied by Muslims in Palestine by adding and taking away material at whim.
We believe that there is no pure evil in what Allaah does; there must be some aspect of good. This is the belief of Ahl Al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah. So through these bloody events in the land of Palestine we can see positive aspects which give the Muslims hope of a bright future and coming victory, in sha Allaah. Among these positive aspects are the following:
· Deep conviction among the Muslim masses that the only way to defeat the Jews is jihaad for the sake of Allaah. There is a great demand for this duty, which is the pinnacle of Islaam, to be carried out.
· The fall of the banners of nationalism, revolution, democracy and all other forms of Jaahiliyyah, and the raising of the banner of “Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah” among the Muslims.
· Immense courage among the huge crowds of Muslims in Palestine who confront the Jews with all their tanks, vehicles, weapons and equipment.
· The return of the principle of Muslims being all one body, and the practical implementation among the Muslim masses of the idea explained by the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam: “The believers, in their mutual love, compassion and mercy, are like one body; if one part of it is suffering, the rest of the parts of the body join it in its fever and sleeplessness.”.
· This has been manifested in the great amounts of charity that Muslims have donated for their brothers, and the initiatives to move some of the wounded to where they can be treated and their fellow-Muslims can visit them. Imaams have offered qunoot du’aa’s (du’aa’ during regular prayers offered at times of calamity) throughout the length and breadth of the Islamic world. Muslims at all levels have expressed their solidarity with their brothers, and some Muslim children have even tried to go to Palestine to throw rocks at the Jews!
· The Islamic dimensions of this issue have become clear to many Muslims, as is manifested in their slogans which clearly point to the Islamic nature of this issue and the status which Al-Masjid Al-Aqsaa has in the eyes of the Muslims. The slogan which annoys the Jews the most – as one of their theorists has admitted – is the slogan “Khaybar, Khaybar yaa yahood, jayshu Muhammad sawfa ya’ood (Khaybar, Khaybar, O Jews, the army of Muhammad will return).” One of the Jews said: “We have to realise how critical our situation is. These people do not mean that the army of Muhammad will come only from the cities of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. They mean that this army will come from every place where Muhammad is respected and where he is believed to be a Prophet, and after that there will be no talk of peace.”
· The process of normalizing relations with the Jews has ground to a halt, or has been slowed down considerably. This process poses one of the greatest dangers to the Ummah. The voices calling for peace with the Jews have been virtually silenced now that they have seen the Jews breaking their promises, covenants and agreements one after another, confirming what Allaah says about them. Allaah says what translates as: “Is it not [true] that every time they took a covenant a party of them threw it away? But, [in fact], most of them do not believe.” (Al-Baqarah: 100)
Despite the many things that we have seen which give us cause for optimism, we must not forget the following points:
· That the reason for this humiliation that we have been going through rests solely with ourselves. In fact, all the evil that comes our way is due to our own selves. If we want Allaah to take this humiliation away from us, we have no choice but to return to Him. Allaah says what translates as: “Indeed, Allaah will never change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” (Ar-Ra’d: 11) Therefore, the Ummah has to repent from the polytheistic acts and religious innovations that it has fallen into.
· Some people are still confused about the matter of seeking help from the polytheists, or mushrikeen and depending on the disbelievers, or kuffaar, or mixing the banners of Islaam and the banners of the people of shirk. Among the conditions of victory is that this confusion must be dispelled. Allaah says that which translates as: “So that those who were to be destroyed (for their rejecting the Faith) might be destroyed after a clear evidence, and those who were to live (i.e. believers) might live after a clear evidence” (Al-Anfaal: 42). Our path starts with the word of Tawheed (“Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah”) so that we may unite on the path of the Messengers, may the blessings and peace of Allaah be upon them all.
· We have a long way to go before we are prepared as Allaah commands us. We must ask ourselves: What are we doing to fulfil the command of Allaah which translates as: “And prepare against them whatever you are able of power and of steeds of war (tanks, planes, missiles, artillery etc.)by which you may terrify the enemy of Allaah and your enemy and others besides them whom you do not know [but] whom Allaah knows. And whatever you spend in the cause of Allaah will be fully repaid to you, and you will not be wronged.” (Al-Anfaal: 60).
Finally, we ask Allaah to save the weak and oppressed believers and to humiliate the Jews and polytheists and grant victory to the people of Tawheed. May He expel the Jews from Bayt Al-Maqdis (Jerusalem), humiliated and defeated. http://www.alminbar.com/

When World War II broke out in Europe, Hannah was worried about the welfare of Europe's Jews. She left Palestine and joined a small, select group of paratroopers who were dropped behind enemy lines in Europe. Her goal was to contact and aid the remaining Jews in Hungary. In 1944, she was parachuted into Yugoslavia. Hannah was captured almost immediately. Although tortured severely and repeatedly, she refused to divulge any information. She was executed 5 months later, refusing the blindfold and staring squarely at the firing squad. Hannah Senesh was 23 years old.

You know this. All we need to know about your "mental state", Gehrig/LIEJoy", is to observe the garbage and Hate Literature you Spam this site with, since you've learned that you cannot actually engage your opposition, as what you support is wholly indefensible.
"Qods (Jerusalem) Day in Iran"
How can we trust this? MEMRI routinely mistranslates things for effect within the tightly-controlled, corporate media, which already repeats the LIE about Iran wanting to "wipe Israel off the map", which was never said.
Meanwhile, the US and Israel plot to invade Iran, possibly with nuclear weapons, and the media stays silent.
Remember, Plant, we've discussed your choice of unreliable" sources.
MyJoy the Troll: Sources Outted, LIES Exposed http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:qh1MImNi8kcJ:vancouver.indymedia.org/node/564+LIEJoy+the+Troll:+Sources+Outted,+LIES+Exposed&hl=en&ct=clnk&cd=3&gl=ca
"After years of rising concern about left-wing anti-Semitism"
Translation: concern about increasing condemnation and criticism of Zionist Fascism & Apartheid in the Middle East, as the ease of information-sharing has allowed more and more people to cut through the media veil on the subject.
"the New York Times reported this week about a study for the American Jewish Committee"
Another Zionist Lobbying Organization/Israeli Spy Front, posing as a body which represents the interests of American Jews (such groups in England have prompted Jews opposed to Zionism to denounce them as a movement).
"Written by professor Alvin Rosenfeld of Indiana University"
A man known for his Hasbara against anti-Zionism, and critics of Israel and its criminal, racist policies.
"the study describes the spread of a virulent anti-Zionism in many quarters on the left that has helped legitimate anti-Semitism"
In other words, arguments he cannot refute, so he Distracts instead.
"So, how can you tell if you're a good liberal who simply thinks the West Bank settlements are bad policy—or a closet Judeophobe whose progressive views mask a serious attitude problem?"
There is no mistaking the two.
A biased "quiz", created by Zionists, and disseminated by Zionism's Propagandists, which is designed to blur this line, will not provide any answers.
"1. Who deserves the most blame for the Iraq war? a) George Bush, Dick Cheney, and Donald Rumsfeld b) Paul Wolfowitz, Richard Perle, and Bill Kristol"
All of the above.
"2. Which group exerts too much influence on America's Mideast policy? b) The Zionist Lobby.
Dual Loyalties The Bush Neocons and Israel By KATHLEEN and BILL CHRISTISON Former CIA political analysts
But Arabists have been steadily replaced by their exact opposites, what some observers are calling Israelists, and policymaking circles throughout government now no longer even make a pretense of exhibiting balance between Israeli and Arab, particularly Palestinian, interests.
http://www.counterpunch.org/christison09062004.html
"3. How would you characterize debate about America's Mideast policy?"
b) Nonexistent, since all criticism of Israel is "taboo", and the word, "Zionism" isn't even understood.
"4. Which state's offenses against humanity bother you most? a) Sudan b) Israel"
All of the above. Israel's have been ongoing and excused for much longer than anyone else's.
5. Criticism of Israel is:
There is no correct answer offered by this Zionist "poll".
6. What do you think of Joe Lieberman?
Israeli spy in American clothing. His actions do not lie.
7. On what basis is Iran a threat to world peace?
It isn't. This is another feigned justification for a US-Israeli attack, which has been planned for years.
8. Jimmy Carter's use of the term "apartheid" in his new book is:
Correct, according to the definition of the word.
9. Which describes your view of the Holocaust?
I have none. It is an irrelevant issue when discussing Zionism and Israel in the current context.
10. The term neoconservative suggests:
That people are afraid of properly using the word FASCIST.

It's worth pointing out that an awful lot of the most vile HATE filled SPEW comes from just a few sources. In this case, the guy is Jordan Thornton, of Regina, Saskatchewan. He has a tiny stock of set buzzphrases he uses to sign his post -- "9/11 = CIA, Mossad, PNC" is one of them, "Zionism Irrelevant in a Generation" is another as is "Various", "Ban The Plant" and "Harper Betrayed The Troops.". He's also the major source of antisemitic BS on Israel's Indymedia. What's a Canadian guy doing pouring his assinine spew fill hate all over the world through the IMC network? Obsession does that to a guy.

Incidentally, you might want to ask yourself -- who's banned at Thunder Bay?

What do all those posts have in common? Two things. One, they're from Jordan Thornton of Regina, Saskatchewan. Number two: Thunder Bay hid each and every one of them. There are probably a lot more, too.
Like these few….there’s a ton of them from London IMC:
