Did you know that over ten times as many Americans are killed by foreigners in their own country than are killed in Iraq? Each day, illegal aliens murder a dozen Americans outright and kill another 13 through drunk driving (hat tip to LimitsToGrowth.org). This adds up to just over 9,100 annually, which is much higher than the 800 U.S. troops killed in Iraq on average for each of the last three years.

How odd that the media keeps a running toll of the number of combat troops killed in Iraq, but says nothing about the unnecessary slaughter of ordinary Americans in their homes and on their roads by criminals that are in the United States illegally. How odd...

How odd that the illegal alien crime piece is missing the context of how many people die...presumably at the hands of legal americans. For example...400,000 by diet and inactivity and 20,000 by sexual activities, etc. How odd...

NYPD investigates hip-hop DJ's rants as possible hate crime

NEW YORK -- Despite an apology, a hip-hop disc jockey was being
investigated for a possible bias crime after making threatening racial and
sexual remarks about a rival's wife and 4-year-old daughter, police said
Thursday.

The New York Police Department's Hate Crime Task Force launched the probe
after the chief of detectives reviewed a transcript of DJ Star's on-air
comments about DJ Envy and his family, said police spokesman Paul Browne.

Star, whose real name is Troi Torain, apologized on Thursday through his
attorney, Benjamin Brafman.

The lawyer called the remarks "unsuitable and inappropriate" and assured
the rival's wife she had nothing to fear. But he also claimed his client
was the victim of threats by her husband.

"The statements made by Star in response, while inappropriate, were,
however, made under great duress and at a time when he was fearful for his
safety and the safety of members of his staff," Brafman said in statement.

Torain worked for Clear Channel Radio's Power 105.1 FM before being fired
Wednesday amid protests from elected officials. A city councilman, John
Liu, said on Thursday that the disgraced DJ "now must be put behind bars
for spewing these threats against a little 4-year-old girl."

In the comments, made between May 3 and Monday, Torain _ co-host of the
syndicated "Star & Buc Wild Morning Show" _ offered $500 to any listener
who could provide information about the rival DJ's daughter's school and
used racial slurs when talking about his wife, who is part Asian.

"I will come for your kids," Torain said, according to transcribed
excerpts provided by Liu's office. "I finally got the information on his
slant-eyed, whore wife."

Torain called the couple's child a "little half a lo mein eater" and said
he wanted to "do an R. Kelly on your seed, on your little baby girl. I
would like to tinkle on her," according to the excerpts.

The comments apparently were referring to videotapes in 2002 showing a man
bearing a striking resemblance to singer R. Kelly having sex with someone
who appeared to be an underage girl and then urinating on her.

DJ Envy's wife, Gia Casey, has said she is parts Chinese, Jamaican and
Scottish. Telephone messages left for a spokeswoman for hip-hop radio
station Hot 97, where DJ Envy works, were not immediately returned
Thursday evening.

Torain and his half brother, Timothy Joseph, or Buc Wild, hosted Hot 97's
morning drive time show beginning in 2000 and joined Clear Channel Radio
in March 2004. They began working at Power 105 in January 2005.

Their show aired in markets including Philadelphia, Miami and Richmond,
Va.

Clear Channel, a unit of Clear Channel Communications Inc., said it found
Torain's statements "wholly unacceptable."

Let’s compare the immigrants.

The original Immigrants "The Puritans" they came to this country, supposedly for religious freedom. If it wasn’t for the Native Americans they would not have survived there first year. How where the Native Americans repaid? By the Illegal Immigrants, “Puritans” creating a “Government” that did not include Native Americans or as they were called in those days SAVAGES. This government decided that they owned everything in this “New World”, and the savages were to be disposed of . In other words, KILLED OFF. The Native Americans that were not killed off were throne in to reservations. There language was ignored and they were forced to learn and speak English. If there should be an official language in the United States, it should be a language Spoken By the Original Inhabitants of this Great Country.

Now lets look at the modern “Illegal Immigrants”. They come from all over the world and speak many different languages, not just from Mexico and not just Spanish. They came to work and help Build this Great Country. A not use up it’s natural resources and kill off it’s native people. The most of the time work in places that even our teenagers won’t do. People say that they are a burden on our economy, well most of them don’t file tax returns at the end of the year, yes they still pay taxes. Were dose all that money go? Most of them work 2 or 3 jobs, sometimes more. They are unable to apply for welfare, they are unable to apply for unemployment benefits. They pay cash for pretty much everything they buy, so they don’t have debt. They don’t declare Bankruptcy and the burden of payment for there debt on responsible hard working Americans and Illegal Immigrants. Yes illegal immigrants pay for this too, they are consumers just like everyone else that lives here.

Someone on this site mentioned how many people are killed by illegal aliens each year. But how many people are killed, kidnapped and raped by legal Americans each year? How many needles deaths did they cause? How many innocent people were kidnapped, chained, branded like animals, sold as slaves and forced to work for free once they arrived here. They were forced to do the jobs that the “Illegal Immigrants” are now doing. Americans didn’t want to do it then, and they sure as hell don’t want to do it now. Then Americans decide, “Ok, it’s wrong to own slaves. Soooo now what? Oh yea, lets hang then, shoot them beat them” for no other reason than because they were of a different color.

Now with that said, how do we compare?

I grow weary of those that seek to demonize the early settlers that founded this nation. Native Americans are romanticized as kind, civilized people who were gracious to all those that landed on the shores of this great country. The truth...this country was destined to be settled by somebody and the early inhabitants were going to be conquered since they held a fractured community segregated by different tribes. I agree that their were numerous atrocities committed against these people but lets not forget that many tribes were warring against each other committing unspeakable acts of barbarism long before the white man came. Bottom line, through the course of history we are fortunate that despite the sins of man this country has become the greatest and most free nation that has ever existed. The comparison then between the settlement of an unorganized, ungoverned land is not the same as comparison to the protection of a sovereign nation. What we now call the United States was, good or bad, up for grabs in the early days…but not so today. We have legal and illegal ways to enter this country and just because you are sympathetic to a particular race or culture does not justify breaking the laws of the land nor does comparing the settlement of this nation compare to the entrance of illegal aliens. By the way…I am a card carrying member of the Cherokee nation sorrowful for what my people suffered but grateful that now my children life safe a free.

Mr. Bill unfortunately commits the "two wrongs" fallacy in his comments on Native Americans --- as well as a few other fallacies. The fact that there were wars between Indian Nations and that there were at times atrocities on both sides, doesn't get the Puritans and later European immigrants off the hook for their atrocities and illegal land grabs.

Mr. Bill seems to think that somehow the land was just up for grabs and that it was somehow destiny that the Europeans take it. Has God stopped talking to George W. long enough to inform Mr. Bill of this crucial bit of His law? What is to keep Mr. Bill from saying that Britain or France is destined to be taken??

Perhaps most importantly, what the Puritans and later immigrants did to American Indians was contrary to the very laws that Mr. Bill claims are so great. If they are so great, why does the U.S. government consistently break them? I can cite chapter and verse of a variety of treaties that the U.S. broke. When the U.S. was called on it, the Supreme Court's Lone Wolf v. Hitchcock decision basically gave the U.S. government carte blanche to break Indian Treaties "...though presumably such power will be exercised only when circumstances arise which will not only justify the government in disregarding the stipulations of the treaty, but may demand, in the interest of the country and the Indians themselves, that it should be so." I challenge anyone to show me that the power hasn't been used primarilly to benefit the European Immigrants at the expense of American Indians in direct violation of the Constitution of the U.S. that rate treaties 2nd only to the constitution itself as binding law...

I agree with Mr. Bill that U.S. law and the political principles it is founded on are probably they greatest in the world. The problem is that the U.S. government has seldom followed them and George W. has strayed as far as anyone in history.

We believe in democracy, but we overthrow democratically elected governments when it suits us and prop up dictators. Heck, we used to prop up Saddam Hussein. Now we are all concerned about the government of Iran, when that government is a direct result of our having overthrown a democratically elected government in favor of the Shah of Iran. We probably wouldn't have religious extremists in power in Iran today if we hadn't overthrown their government and propped up a dictator there for decades.

I'd say we are not only hypocrites, but pretty damn stupid. Our meddling is almost always contradictory to our laws and principles --- and it almost always backfires. Too bad we can't just follow those laws and principles. We might be better off.... Of course, it would also mean that Indians would own a lot more land...
